Hello, my name is Brandon Kirby and I am the 7-12 principal here at HPS.  This will be my 4^th year as principal and my 17^th year in education.  Before I became an administrator, I taught social studies in Wausa, NE and Nebraska City, NE.  I taught everything from 7^th grade history to college level American History.  Over the years I have coached a little bit of everything from football, basketball, and track.  I obtained my master’s degree in American History and my certificate in Administration from Wayne State College, my undergrad degree is from Peru State College.

I am originally from Arizona, where I went to grade school.  I moved to Glenwood, IA in the 7^th grade and I graduated high school from Glenwood.  I currently live in Humphrey with my two boys who will be in 8^th and 9^th grade this school year.
