I graduated from Johnson-Brock Public Schools. I attended Peru State College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Language Arts Education Degree and a Master in Curriculum and Instruction Degree. From the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I also have my School Librarian Endorsement. I previously taught in St. Paul Public Schools, Pawnee City Public Schools, and Oakland-Craig Public Schools. I began teaching for HPS in 2006. I currently teach junior high English and am the K-12 Librarian. I am the Student Council Adviser and the Sophomore Class Sponsor. While I’m not working, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with family, and lettering. I have a husband, three children, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.
