I graduated from Albion High School and attended Wayne State College. I received a bachelor's Degree in English Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I started teaching at HPS in 2001. I teach high school English, junior high media, newscasting, journalism, and speech. I am a sophomore class sponsor, high school and junior high speech coach, NHS advisor, and yearbook advisor. While I’m not working, I enjoy completing crossword puzzles and reading young adult fiction novels. I also love to write in various genres. Given a choice, however, I will always choose to spend time with my daughter Katie over doing any other hobby.
