Be Kind
Throughout December, fourth grade students at Humphrey Public were living out the “Be Kind” movement as they completed service projects throughout their community to promote kindness. Some of these projects included: scooping snow for an elderly person, visiting residents at a nursing home, delivering baked goods and cards to neighbors, and making care packages for the UPS man. According to the fourth graders they learned a couple important lessons: it feels good to do for others and that sometimes it feels better to give than to receive!
